Tracy began her career as a model and art dealer before turning her attentions to acting in the 1980s. She is perhaps best remembered for her role in the television detective series C.A.T.S. Eyes and as the first Miss Scarlett in the television drama game show Cluedo.
In the 1990s, Tracy began her journey into green activism, working as a volunteer with Friends of the Earth. Though she is still representing several NGOs, as Associate Director of The International Society for Ecology and Culture and Trustee of the Gaia Foundation, she has been focusing on getting the green message out further than the green movement via films. She is now director of the film Pig Business and Campaign, Farms Not Factories.
